LONDON: England batter Ben Duckett has announced his withdrawal from the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026, citing a desire to prioritize his international career and domestic cricket commitments.

Duckett established through his statement that he was required to make this decision because it would help protect his future with England. He explained his decision to skip the IPL because he needed to concentrate on national responsibilities which would protect his England career. He expressed his regrets to both his team and supporters because he had to leave the tournament.
