ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has announced a significant relief package for federal government employees, directing that salaries and pensions be disbursed ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr to facilitate festive preparations.
Following the Prime Minister’s special instructions, relevant government departments have initiated the payment process to ensure all employees receive their dues in time for holiday shopping.
In a parallel development, the Cabinet Division has issued an official notification regarding the Eid-ul-Fitr holidays. Following the Prime Minister’s approval, public holidays have been declared for March 20 and 21 (Friday and Saturday). These holidays will apply to all federal offices, including those observing both five-day and six-day working weeks.
