CHARSADDA: An eight-year-old girl was raped and murdered in Tehsil Tangi district, Charsadda, on Tuesday.
Police sources said that the incident occurred in Omar Khan village of Tehsil Tangi, when an unknown accused raped and strangled the girl to death. The girl’s body was immediately shifted to THQ Hospital Tangi for postmortem, where the medical team confirmed the incident.
District Police Officer Charsadda Waqas Khan immediately reached the scene of the tragic incident and has formed a special team to investigate the incident. DPO directed the special police team to arrest the accused soon. The brutal and brutal accused will not be allowed to escape the clutches of the law, DPO Waqas Khan said.
