At least 8 terrorists were eliminated in an intelligence-based operation carried out by security forces in South Waziristan.
According to sources, the security forces on Sunday conducted Intelligence-based operations and targeted the Fitna-ul-Khawarij in several regions of South Waziristan.
The operation was conducted against the hideouts from which attacks were launched against security forces a week ago, resulting in the martyrdom of 12 brave Pakistan Army personnel.
The security forces utilised both small and large weapons to strike multiple Khawarij hideouts located in Tangi Badanzai, Razin, Spin Mela, and Ladha.
Reports indicate that smugglers, criminals, and terrorists have been harassing local residents in these areas and collecting money from them.
