NORTH WAZIRISTAN: In order to ensure law and order in the district during Eid-ul-Fitr, Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Yusuf Karim has issued a directive for the implementation of Section 144 in the entire district of North Waziristan.
As per the official notification issued in the district, the ban will come into effect from March 12th to March 31st, 2026. During this time, aerial firing, the use of fireworks, sale of toy guns, road stunts, one-wheeling, drifting, and the use of pressure horns in vehicles will be strictly prohibited. The complete ban will be on activities like bathing, boating, and fishing in both rivers and lakes.
The administration has made a public declaration which states that all individuals who break these rules will experience immediate enforcement of legal consequences which will be enforced through Section 188 of the Pakistan Penal Code.
The district administration has requested that all members of the public should work together to maintain peaceful Eid celebrations while preventing accidents, which will help protect both public safety and private property.
