The schedule for the third by-elections for 24 vacant seats in various categories of village councils across different districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has been announced.
According to the Election Commission, the last date for withdrawing nomination papers is set for September 29, 2025. The elections will take place in 11 districts of the province, which include Charsadda, Swat, Shangla, Upper Dir, Lower Dir, Malakand, Kohat, Dera Ismail Khan, Abbottabad, Haripur, and Mansehra.

As per the election schedule, the final list of candidates will be released on September 30, 2025, at which point they will be assigned election symbols. Polling is scheduled for October 19, 2025. The official announcement of the election results will be made by the returning officers on October 22, 2025.
