SWAT: Earthquake tremors were felt in various parts of the district Swat and its adjacent areas on Monday night and caused panic in Swat and the surrounding areas.

According to the Seismological Centre, the earthquake had a magnitude of 4.3 on the Richter scale, with a depth of 13 kilometres. The epicentre was located in the northeastern part of Mingora city.

So far, there have been no reports of loss of life or property; however, citizens are advised to remain cautious due to the possibility of aftershocks.

Earlier, earthquake tremors were also felt in various districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including Peshawar, Shangla, and Battagram. The Seismological Centre recorded this earlier earthquake at a magnitude of 3.0, with its epicentre in Battagram.
