LAHORE: Famous YouTuber Saad-ur-Rehman, alias Ducky Bhai, has filed a petition in court to have his name removed from the Provisional National Identification List (PNIL).
Ducky Bhai submitted the application through his lawyer, Usman Latif Advocate. The application claims that his name was included in the PNIL without due process, as the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) did not issue any notices prior to the inclusion.
The court, led by Judicial Magistrate Naeem Wattoo, has requested a report from the NCCIA regarding Dikki Bhai’s request. The hearing has been adjourned until March 26.
In a related case, a hearing was conducted regarding the interim bail for Dikki Bhai’s wife, Aroob Jatoi, in connection with the promotion of a gambling app. Additional Sessions Judge Mansoor Ahmed Qureshi presided over the case, during which Aroob Jatoi, accompanied by her lawyers Usman Latif and Aftab Advocate, attended the court.
The court has also requested a report from the NCCIA for the next hearing and extended Aroob Jatoi’s bail until April 6. It is important to note that the NCCIA has filed a case against Aroob Jatoi for promoting a gambling app.
