ABBOTTABAD (Hamad Ullah): A local court on Saturday sent the main accused in the kidnapping and murder case of Dr. Warda to jail on judicial remand after their 10-day physical remand concluded.
In this case, the main accused, Rida, and her husband, Waheed Bala, were ordered to be taken to jail for further proceedings. According to police officials, an amount of Rs 50 million was recovered from the accused during the remand period.
The suspects were presented before the court, which ordered their transfer to jail pending legal proceedings.
In a related matter, one accused in the same case were reportedly killed in what police described as an alleged encounter inside the jail. This incident has raised widespread concern and led to demands for transparency.
The investigation into this high-profile case is ongoing, and authorities have stated that further legal action will be taken in light of the recovered evidence.
