Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS) has declared Traiq Mateen’s tweet and related messages circulating on social media to be misleading, false, and baseless.

In its official statement, the university announced that legal action will be taken against those responsible for spreading this false information.

The notification issued by the university confirmed that a high-level delegation visited Dow University on November 20, 2025, and that the event was held successfully.

The claims circulating on certain social media platforms regarding the deduction of marks or forced attendance for students are entirely untrue and do not reflect any directive from the university.

Furthermore, the notification states that anyone involved in spreading or creating this false information will face consequences according to university regulations.

If necessary, actions may also be pursued under the rules of the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA).
