PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government on Monday issued a directive making digital correspondence compulsory across the education department in the province. 

An important announcement issued by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, has stated that in continuation of the department’s notification dated October 28, 2025, the Honourable Provincial Minister for Elementary and Secondary Education has issued strict instructions that from Monday, December 8, 2025.

All official correspondence and office affairs of the department will be carried out only through the “Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Digital Workspace (KP-DWS)”. This will include e-receiving and issuing, e-note sheets and sending of official letters. According to the announcement, all sections of the department have been directed to start using the R&I module of KP-DWS immediately. After December 5, 2025, manual receipt and issuance will be completely prohibited. The department further clarified that violation of these orders will be strictly dealt with.
