PESHAWAR (Shahid Jan): Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sohail Afridi, takes immediate notice of the bomb blast in Dera Ismail Khan and strongly condemned the incident.
The Chief Minister has sought a detailed report from the Inspector General of Police regarding the blast and directed authorities to ensure the provision of the best possible medical treatment to the injured.
He has also instructed security agencies to conduct a prompt and thorough investigation into the incident and to identify and bring those responsible to justice. Terming the incident as extremely tragic, the Chief Minister said that the perpetrators would be taken to task and punished according to the law.
Expressing solidarity with the affected families, the Chief Minister stated that the provincial government stands shoulder to shoulder with the families of the martyrs in their time of grief and assured them of all possible assistance.
