CHARSADDA: For the first time ever, DHQ Hospital Charsadda has provided treatment to more than 100,000 patients in a month. The hospital management has claimed that more than 106,372 patients were treated in September 2025.

The numbers of patients treated were broken down to 53,684 patients of emergency department cases and 52,688 patients treated were cases from our outpatient department.

The outpatient department had the following number of patients treated in September in each specialty.

Medical: 11,785

Orthopedic: 6,578

Dermatology (Skin): 6,119

ENT: 4,531

Pediatrics: 5,083

Ophthalmology: 3,176

Gastroenterology: 2,851

Dental: 1,488

Urology: 1,318

Cardiology: 1,315

Neurosurgery: 1,537

Pulmonology: 1,697

Endocrinology: 1886

Surgery: 2,472

Psychiatry: 266

Nephrology: 218

Physiotherapy: 228

Homeopathy: 55

Hakim (Traditional Medicine): 67

Gynecology: 18

The hospital officials said that we attribute all of this success to our medical doctors, nurses, paramedics, ministerial staff as well as our auxiliary staff who all work tirelessly and provide compassion.
