District Education Officer(DEO) Mardan Female Samina Ghani has issued instructions to all school principals not to allow any team to vaccinate students for any kind of disease.
Female DEO Samina Ghani has issued strict instructions to all school heads in an audio message. He informed the head of the school not to allow any persons without the NOC of the District Education Department. He urged the parents not to care about propaganda, and no vaccination is being done in any school.
Meanwhile, DEO Peshawar Sofia Tabassum also banned such activities in female schools and directed the staff to inform her in case of any team visit to the school. There are reports of people going to some schools for vaccination. District Education Officer said that if anyone comes and wants to vaccinate children, then do not allow them, DEO Peshawar.
It is worth mentioning here that widespread propaganda was aired in society that the government will vaccinate children for cancer in female schools; however, the reports were baseless and an old video was shared on Facebook regarding vaccination.
