BANNU: Police constable Naveed Ikram’s body, who was kidnapped by Fitna-ul-Khawarij, was found on Sadakhel Road on Wednesday.
The source said that police had launched a search operation in the area and found the dead body of Constable Naveed Ikram, who was targeted by Fitna-ul-Khawarij terrorists when he was in the Amal Khel area.
The terrorists kidnapped him at gunpoint and shifted him to an unknown location, where he was later brutally martyred. The brutal suspects threw the body of the martyred constable on Sadakhel Road and fled the scene. As soon as the incident was reported, a large contingent of police reached the spot and completely sealed the area. Police officials said that there is fear and panic in the area after the martyrdom of Constable Naveed Ikram; however, the security forces have tightened and cordoned off the area to arrest the elements.
After collecting important evidence from the scene, the police have intensified intelligence-based operations and search operations at various locations to find the suspects so that the elements involved in this cowardly act can be brought to justice.
