NUSHKI: The Deputy Commissioner of Nushki, Muhammad Hussain Hazara has been recovered safely, according to a senior security officer. A Government of Balochistan official also verified the development.

A video distributed by the proscribed Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) earlier in the day displayed an official who showed signs of distress while he stated that the group had taken him captive. The deputy commissioner has not appeared in any new photographs since his video release.

Authorities have not provided details on how the recovery operation was conducted but have emphasized that the official is now safe. Security forces continue to monitor the situation in the area.

71 terrorists affiliated with BLA fitnatul Hindustan killed in Balochistan operation

More than 71 terrorists killed in various operation carried out against Balochistan Liberation Army affiliated with fitnatul Hindustan.

Deputy Chief Minister Balochistan has said that more than 70 terrorists have been killed in different areas of Balochistan during the last 2 days.

‎According to Shahid Rind, after the terrorists suffered heavy losses, attempts were made to attack some places in the province, however, the police and Frontier Corps took timely and effective action and foiled all the attacks.

‎The Deputy Chief Minister further said that the pursuit of the escaped terrorists is ongoing and the security forces are fully vigilant and alert.

‎Shahid Rind said that more details regarding the security situation will be presented to the public very soon.

Local and officials sources confirmed that security forces gained control of all areas and pushed out miscreants from the major points of the province.
