BANNU: An official vehicle of the Deputy Commissioner Bannu’s office met with a tragic traffic accident in Kohat. As a result of the incident, policeman Fasihullah lost his life on the spot, while the driver, Farman, sustained serious injuries.
According to initial reports, the driver and the policeman were travelling from Bannu to Peshawar on official duty when the vehicle’s brakes reportedly failed near Cheechna Mor in Kohat. Due to the brake failure, the vehicle went out of control, overturned multiple times, and met with a severe accident.
Rescue 1122 teams rushed to the scene immediately after the incident and shifted the injured driver to a local hospital in Kohat for medical treatment. The death of the policeman was confirmed at the site.
