DI KHAN: At least 12 members of the same family died, and three others were injured when a vehicle belonging to a nomadic family plunged into a deep ravine in Dera Islamail Khan on Friday morning.
A vehicle of a nomadic family fell into a deep gorge at Dana Sar, killing 12 members of the same family and injuring three others. The accident occurred when the mini truck’s brakes failed, and the truck fell into a deep mountain ravine.
According to police sources, the nomadic family was coming from Khanozai, Balochistan, to Dera Ismail Khan. The deceased in the accident include women, children, and three men. Three people were injured in the accident and were shifted to the hospital after being given first aid.
Local people participated in the relief activities and shifted the dead and injured to hospitals, where their bodies were identified and shifted to their ancestral area.
