SOUTH WAZIRISTAN: The local administration has announced a curfew in most areas of Sarwekai Tehsil, Upper South Waziristan from 6 AM to 7 PM today (Thursday).

According to officials, all movement in these areas will be strictly prohibited during curfew hours. The public is asked not to engage in any commercial activity as all shops and markets must close for the entire day.

Additionally, several important routes have been shut down, including Qandahari to Siplatoi and Barwand to Mola Khan Sarai areas.

The routes will only be open for emergency travel during the curfew, and only with prior police or security force permission. Citizens will be asked to submit their national identity card and documentation when making that request.

Residents have also been advised that they should move their vehicles from the road even 100 meters away when seeing any security convoy.

The administration has asked for the full cooperation of the general public in carrying out these orders and following all instructions to avoid any disorders.
