TANK:​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌ The district administration of Tank has imposed a day-long curfew on Sunday (today) lasting from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

A curfew will be enforced in Jandola sub-division; hence, the closing of neighborhood markets has been ‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌announced. All types of movement will be completely banned throughout this timeframe.

Major roads, such as Kod Qila and Khargi highways will stay shut to vehicles. Access to these paths is tightly controlled. Only urgent travel will be permitted, with travelers required to get authorization, from police or security personnel valid ID and carry necessary documentation to proceed.

Authorities have instructed motorists to stop 50 meters ahead of security forces and have all passengers exit vehicles during the curfew. Violations will make individuals legally liable.

Curfew imposed today in Wana, South Waziristan

On 8 December, authorities in Wana Tehsil, South Waziristan, have declared a curfew for December 8 (today), from 6:00 AM until 6:00 PM.

As per the announcement, no movement within the area will be allowed during the curfew and markets shops along, with commercial centers will stay shut.

Access to Wana will be highly limited permitted during emergencies and only with advance authorization, from the police or security personnel. Those​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌ that intend to enter must show their identification cards along with other documents that might be required.

The local government has encouraged the residents of that area to fully cooperate with the police and other law enforcement agencies during the curfew ​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌time.
