ISLAMABAD: The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has announced additional guidelines that candidates must follow for the upcoming CSS 2026 examination. The FPSC has set additional guidelines which candidates must follow during the CSS 2026 written examination that will start on February 4 2026.
The FPSC requires all registered candidates to comply with the new regulations the organization has announced as mandatory. The commission required candidates to validate their National Identity Card or passport status while expired documents will prevent them from entering the examination hall. Candidates without valid identification will not be allowed to sit for the exam.
The notice requires candidates to arrive at their designated seats 50 minutes before the exam starts to complete identity verification and other formalities. Late arrivals will not be permitted to enter the exam hall.
FPSC established that examination hall regulations prohibit all types of materials which include stencils and notes and additional papers and any other unrelated items. The only materials which candidates are allowed to bring to the exam site are those which examination authorities have specifically authorized in previous announcements.
The candidates must adhere to all existing instructions which they have received in earlier and current directives. The commission warned that any violation could result in disciplinary action, including disqualification from the exam.
The FPSC implementation of these regulations works to establish examination procedures which maintain transparent processes and controlled environments while assessing candidate qualifications through established merit standards. Candidates must read all instructions before reaching their examination centers with complete preparation.
