Dir Bala: Crucial Bridge linking Kumrat valley collapsed on Sunday, cutting off traffic and land route to the holiday spot.
According to local authorities, a heavily loaded vehicle crossed the bridge, causing it to collapse and the vehicle to fall into the river below. Two individuals were injured in the incident and were quickly shifted to a nearby healthcare center for treatment.
The bridge collapse has completely cut off road access to Kumrat, disrupting travel and tourism in the area. Rescue teams and local authorities have arrived at the site, and efforts are underway to assess the damage and restore connectivity as quickly as possible.
Officials have advised tourists to avoid travelling to the region until the route is reopened and safety measures are reinstated.
