‎Defence Minister Khawaja Asif said that the credit for the negotiation process goes to Turkey and Qatar, and if these negotiations succeed, it will be a big disappointment for India because India has a deep relationship and understanding with the people sitting in Kabul.

Asif said that Pakistan does not export terrorists, but is taking practical steps to deal with them.

He said that more details regarding the negotiations will be finalized on November 6, and Pakistan hopes that this process will bring peace and stability to the region.

‎On the other hand, a crackdown is underway against Afghans and other foreigners residing illegally in Pakistan. Eighteen landlords have been arrested in Rawalpindi for renting out houses to Afghan nationals, while 216 Afghans have been detained and shifted to a holding center. A case has also been registered against a landlord in Lahore’s Raiwind area.
