The District and Sessions Courts in Islamabad have given big relief to Bushra Bibi in the November 26 protest case.
Additional District and Sessions Judge Amir Zia extended Bushra Bibi’s interim bail and prevented her from being arrested in the related case. The court adjourned further hearing on the bail application till February 17. During the hearing, Advocate Shamsa Kayani appeared in the court on behalf of Bushra Bibi.
It should be noted that a case has been registered against Bushra Bibi at Ramna police station under the PAPO Act and other sections, which is related to the November 26 protest. The court has issued a show cause notice to the investigating officer for not submitting the challan of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi, Junaid Akbar, and others.
