ISLAMABAD: The District and Session Court Islamabad issued a non-bailable arrest warrant against former Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur in the liquor and arms recovery case.
Judicial Magistrate Mubashir Hassan heard the case in the District and Sessions Court, Islamabad. Despite repeated notices during the hearing, Ali Amin Gandapur did not appear in court, on which the court issued a non-bailable arrest warrant for him, citing his continuous absence.
The court has ordered the police to immediately arrest the former KP CM and produce him at the next hearing. The next hearing of the case has been scheduled for October 28, 2025. It should be noted that a case of liquor and illegal arms recovery against Ali Amin Gandapur has been registered in Bara Kaho Police Station, Islamabad.
This development comes at a time when the political environment in the country is already highly tense, and legal proceedings are underway against former government figures.
