BANNU: Commander 116 Brigade Brigadier Umair Niazi, along with Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Bannu Region Sajjad Khan, visited the district headquarters hospital Bannu and Khalifa Gul Nawaz hospital to inquire after police personnel and civilians injured during the Takhti khel operation.

During the visit, Brigadier Niazi and DIG Sajjad Khan check on the injured individuals undergoing treatment and reviewed the medical facilities being provided at the hospitals.

They interacted with doctors and medical staff and issued strict instructions to ensure the provision of timely and high-quality medical care to all injured personnel.

Brigadier Umair Niazi emphasized that any negligence or lapse in the treatment of injured security personnel would not be tolerated.

DIG Bannu Region Sajjad Khan paid tribute to the courage, resilience, and professional commitment of the police personnel and civilians who bravely confronted terrorists.

He also offered prayers for the speedy and complete recovery of the injured.

The terrorists resorted to heavy firing and drone attacks during the operation, resulting in injuries to police personnel and civilians, who were immediately shifted to nearby hospitals for medical treatment.

State institutions remain fully committed to maintaining peace and order, and the fight against terrorism will continue until its complete eradication.
