Chief of Defence Forces and Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir during his address warned India of more severe response if it restored to any aggression against Pakistan.

CDF Munir address  while speaking to the officers of the armed forces following a guard of honour ceremony held at the GHQ to honour him on being appointed as the country’s first CDF. India should not be in any delusion as Pakistan’s response [in case of any aggression] will be even more swift and intense.

The Field Marshal said that in view of evolving and expanding threats, Pakistan must further strengthen multi-domain operations under a unified tri-services framework.

He added that the creation of the Defence Forces Headquarters marks a critical move toward enhanced jointness and operational synergy.

CDF while his address emphasized that while each service will retain its individuality and operational preparedness, the Defence Forces Headquarters will coordinate and harmonies all tri-services operations.

He reiterated that the higher command structure will function cohesively while allowing the services to preserve their internal autonomy and organizational systems.

Regarding Afghanistan, Field Marshal stated that a clear message has been delivered to the Taliban regime they must choose between the Fitnah of the Khawarij or their relationship with Pakistan there is no third option.

Reaffirming Pakistan’s commitment to peace, the Field Marshal said the country seeks stability but will never allow anyone to challenge its sovereignty, territorial integrity, or national resolve.
