ISLAMABAD (Sheraz Ahmad Sherazi): In a significant administrative reshuffle, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Sohail Afridi has ordered the immediate transfer of over 142 staff members working at Khyber Pakhtunkhwa House, Islamabad.

A formal notification was issued under Chief Minister Afridi’s directives, which included the transfer of 142 employees from various departments. Among those transferred were key staff members from the finance and kitchen departments, such as Ali Akbar, Rizwana Bibi, Iftikhar Hussain, Luqman Khan, and Iqbal Hussain. Others, including Miya Noor-ul-Wahid and Sajjad, have also been moved to new positions.

The financial staff has been reassigned to the administration department, the royal guesthouse, KP House in Mardan, and the FATA Circuit House in Peshawar. Additionally, there was a significant reshuffle in the sweeper staff, with employees like Riyaz Masih, Asif Masih, Babar Sadiq, Shan Masih, Bhota Masih, and Rafiq Masih being transferred.

KP House’s dishwasher staff, including Tariq Mehmood, Shahidullah Khan, Asim Pervez, Mohammad Zubair, and Jansen, have been transferred to the royal guesthouse in Peshawar. Several employees from the housekeeping and cooking departments have also been reassigned.

Notably, cooks from KP House, including Mohammad Safeer, Jafar Ali Shah, Faisal Zaman, Naib Ali, Nauman Khan, Fazal Wahid, Saidullah, Habib Rahman, and Shaheen Khan, have been moved to the royal guesthouse and the administration department. The waitstaff, including Inayatullah, Nematullah, and Faiz Mohammad, has been instructed to report back to KP House in Islamabad.

This reshuffle extends beyond the capital, involving large-scale transfers between KP House Islamabad, Mardan, Abbottabad, Nathiagali, and Peshawar. The administration department has confirmed that all 142 employees are required to report to their new assignments immediately.

This sweeping restructuring comes in response to allegations that some staff members were involved in leaking sensitive information and maintaining unauthorized contacts with former Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur. These measures aim to enhance security and ensure the confidentiality of KP House operations.

This decision follows security concerns and allegations of information leaks, prompting the reassignment of several lower-level employees, including security guards, kitchen staff, receptionists, and waiters.
