Clashes continue between Afghan taliban factions over support for anti-Pakistan groups in Kunar and Nangarhar provinces of Afghanistan.

Fierce clashes are ongoing between different factions of the Afghan Taliban in the Kunar and Nangarhar provinces of Afghanistan.

According to sources, the conflict arises from divisions within the Taliban regarding support for various terrorist organizations operating against Pakistan.

Some factions, involved in terrorism, are reportedly receiving backing from groups such as the Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), Gul Bahar, and Jamaat-ul-Ahrar to launch attacks on Pakistan, often in coordination with India.

Local sources indicate that heavy weapon exchanges are taking place, causing panic in the area. In response to the threat posed by these anti-Pakistan factions, the Pakistan Air Force has targeted and destroyed their bases.

Government and security officials are closely monitoring the situation.
