ISLAMABAD: Federal Defence Minister Khawaja Asif, while reacting to the propaganda of the Afghan Taliban attacking a drug hospital in Kabul, said that these claims are coming from those who attack mosques, martyr prostrate worshippers and play a horrific game with the blood of innocent children.
Sharing a tweet by Information and Broadcasting Minister Attaullah Tarar on social media platform X, Khawaja Asif wrote that those who target unarmed citizens, markets and schools and make drug trafficking their livelihood are today attacking the same state that has sheltered them for the last 50 years.

Expressing regret over the behaviour of the Afghan Taliban, the Defence Minister further said that Pakistan’s soil not only sheltered them but also clashed with a global superpower for their sake and hosted them for three generations.
He said that these people do not keep their commitments and demand billions of rupees in ransom in exchange for fulfilling their promises.
Khawaja Asif said that Pakistan may have made many mistakes in its 78-year history, but extending hospitality to Afghans was the biggest and most blatant mistake, for which he also prayed to Allah for forgiveness.
