ISLAMABAD: Chery Master Pakistan is set to begin deliveries of its Tiggo 8 plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) to pre-registered customers in April 2026, in line with its earlier commitments.
The Tiggo PHEV series was first unveiled in November 2025 at the Pakistan Auto Show, followed by a nationwide preview campaign.
Master Auto Engineering, which introduced the brand locally, had signed a partnership agreement with Chery Global in May 2025.
Advance bookings for the Tiggo 8 PHEV opened in January 2026 at a price of Rs10,999,000 for early customers. Following strong demand, the company revised the price to Rs11,299,000 from February 1.
The Tiggo 8 PHEV is positioned as a seven-seater plug-in hybrid SUV targeting family users. It is powered by Chery’s hybrid system, combining electric and conventional propulsion to offer both efficiency and performance.
According to the company, the vehicle produces 496 horsepower and 735Nm of torque, with an electric-only range of up to 90 kilometres and a combined driving range of around 1,200 kilometres.
The model includes a range of comfort and technology features, such as a three-row cabin layout, infotainment system, and premium audio setup.
Interior highlights include a zero-gravity front passenger seat with massage function, climate-controlled seating, and extensive soft-touch materials.
Safety features include multiple airbags and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), alongside a five-star global safety rating.
To support its rollout, the company has established a nationwide 3S dealership network comprising 10 outlets, with plans to expand to 20 locations by 2027.
Master Auto Engineering, part of the Master Group, is introducing Chery in Pakistan as part of its expansion into the hybrid and electric vehicle segment.
Globally, Chery operates in over 120 countries and has a customer base exceeding 18 million, while maintaining its position as a leading automotive exporter from China.
