Awami National Party Central President Senator Aimal Wali Khan paid glowing tributes to Shaheed Bashir Ahmad Bilour on the eve of his 13th death anniversary.

Followers of Bacha Khan never bow down before oppression and terror, Aimal Wali Khan said. He added that the sacrifices of Shaheed Bashir Bilour for the establishment of peace on Pakhtun land will always be remembered in history. He mentioned that today, the people of the province are in the grip of insecurity, injustice, and terrorism, while provincial and federal governments are fighting terrorism, have completely failed in eliminating terrorism and establishing the rule of law.
He said that Rulers are busy with personal interests and political tug-of-war, ignoring the safety of the people, while Pakhtuns are bleeding as terrorists and their facilitators are roaming free. Awami National Party will continue to struggle for peace, democracy, and human dignity, Aimal Wali Khan said. ANP will raise its voice against terrorism at every forum, based on Bacha Khan’s philosophy of non-violence, he added.
Meanwhile, Awami National Party Provincial President Mian Iftikhar Hussain also paid tributes to peace martyr Bashir Ahmed Bilour on his 13th death anniversary. Bashir Bilour was a strong wall against terrorism and extremism; he stood firm for the truth till his last breath, Mian Iftikhar Hussain said. Bashir Ahmed Bilour sacrificed his precious life for non-violence, democracy, and Pashtun dignity, Mian Iftikhar Hussain remarked.
ANP’s politics is not of slogans but of sacrifice, resistance, and practical struggle, Mian Iftikhar Hussain added. “Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is once again in the grip of unrest, uncertainty, and mismanagement, ANP Provincial President said. ANP Provincial President added that the Provincial and federal governments have failed to provide peace, employment, education, and health. Rulers are busy with political spectacles and personal agendas instead of public issues.
The shadow of terrorism and extremism is once again looming over the province. The sacrifice of martyr Bashir Bilour teaches that peace is not established through claims, but through bold decisions. If the government remains silent, this silence can lead to a major tragedy, Mian Iftikhar Hussain added. The central and provincial governments should be aware and not leave the people at the mercy of ruthless circumstances.
