ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed deep concern over recent ceasefire violations in conflict areas and has urged all parties to exercise restraint.

In a statement on the social media platform X, the Prime Minister highlighted that these violations are harming the spirit of the ongoing peace process. He strongly appealed to all parties to fully respect the ceasefire for the next two weeks, as agreed, to allow diplomacy to play a central role in the peaceful resolution of the conflict.

The Prime Minister emphasized that, at this moment, only patience and cooperation can ensure lasting peace.

It is important to note that the ceasefire established between the US and Iran is the result of the tireless diplomatic efforts of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, and Field Marshal Asim Munir. This ceasefire agreement was reached last night for a duration of two weeks.
