JAMRUD, BAB-E-KHYBER: A tragic traffic accident occurred in Jamrud today, resulting in the deaths of four family members and leaving one person critically injured. The accident happened when a vehicle carrying the family crashed while returning from a local parlor.
According to police, the victims were on their way home after taking a family member, the groom, to the parlor for pre-wedding preparations. Fortunately, the groom was in a separate vehicle, which spared him from the fatal crash.
The identity of the injured individual remains undisclosed. They were quickly transported to a nearby hospital, where they are currently receiving treatment for critical injuries.
Authorities have initiated an investigation into the cause of the accident, and condolences have poured in for the victims and their grieving families. The community is expressing profound shock and sorrow over this tragic loss of life.
As soon as the Rescue 1122 Khyber Control Room received the information, medical and disaster teams reached the spot. The injured were provided with medical assistance and then transferred to the hospital. Doctors at the hospital confirmed that 04 people were killed on the spot. The deceased include Mansoor, son of Abdul Qar, Noman, son of Mujeeb, Sohail, Zara, son of Khushdil New Abadi Jamrud.
