ISLAMABAD: Social media users have called on authorities to ban Raftar TV due to its false propaganda regarding the May 2025 war.
The video in question has been widely shared across various social media platforms, with citizens demanding strong action against Raftar TV for spreading misinformation and propaganda.
Additionally, the video has been circulated by anti-state and Indian accounts to damage the reputation of state institutions.
Senior politician Dewan Sachal commented, “Raftar has long been anti-Pakistan, but they seem to have high-level protection. Anyone else would have been apprehended and shut down by now.”
Another social media user commented, “Trying to adopt the traditional way of earning dollars. Criticize the Pak Army and get views of India and PTI”.
