Bushra Ansari, a versatile artist of the Pakistani showbiz industry, has broken her silence and expressed deep concern over the poor condition of the municipal services of Karachi.
In a video message shared on Instagram, Bushra Ansari said that she originally belongs to Punjab and later moved to Karachi. She is concerned about the condition of Karachi every day and when people complain about the city’s poor condition, broken roads and dirt, she completely agrees with this. While mentioning this, Bushra Ansari said that Karachi is broken, but the people here are not the ones who are aware. The condition of the city’s roads has deteriorated, but the people here have love and hospitality in their hearts.
She said that anyone coming to Karachi, be it from Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa or Balochistan, is welcomed with great love. The actress further said that Karachi’s problems have been discussed for the last 30 years, but till date no one has paid attention to improving its condition. So many years have passed, why doesn’t anyone realize that at some point they should do something for Karachi? Bushra Ansari continued her speech and said that she is not criticizing any political party, but she definitely wants the people who have the responsibility of improving the city to fulfil their promises. She said that every year it is said that we are improving the condition of the city, but we do not see anything.
She also criticized the provincial government and said that the condition of not only Karachi but the entire Sindh is very sad, but the government is not doing anything for the betterment of its own province. The actress emphasized that perhaps it is time for all of us, every person in Karachi, to come together and file a petition so that those who are responsible for Karachi’s problems can be questioned. She concluded her discussion with the question of when this will happen and who will do it.
