King Charles’ childhood hair is being offered for auction which is a unique addition to the rare memorabilia of the British royal family has come to light.
This hair was cut by royal barber George Crisp in the early 1960s, when young Charles was still far from royal responsibilities, Diana or Camilla’s era.
The price of this souvenir offered by Paul Fraser Collectibles is set at 7,995 pounds. The company says that it is the most private souvenir of King Charles III. These hairs take you closest to the monarch’s personality.
The auction collection includes not only hair but also a Christmas card handwritten by King Charles, as well as scissors and combs from royal barber George Crisp.
According to the report, George Crisp was not only the barber of George VI but also the trusted hairdresser of Queen Elizabeth II after 1952. In the 1960s, he regularly travelled from Trumpers in Mayfair to Buckingham Palace to trim the young Charles’ thick black hair.
The comb also bears the royal crest of Kent of London, a brand considered a favorite of the royal family.
