PESHAWAR: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Peshawar (BISEP) has formally adopted the Cluster Policy for the next Matric (SSC) and Intermediate (HSSC) examinations. A formal notification of the new policy was issued after the 59th meeting of the Board of Governors.
As per the press release, the Cluster Policy seeks to streamline the examination process by classifying exam centers and allocating schools to assigned cluster centers. All stakeholders concerned, such as examination controllers, deputy controllers, heads of the IT department, and administrative officers, have been directed to implement it accordingly as per the new guidelines.
Cluster Policy is aimed at enhancing transparency, minimizing the risk of cheating, and streamlining logistic arrangements by clustering close schools into central exam centers.
The notice has been distributed to all relevant departments and staff, including the Controller of Exams, Deputy Controller, DD-IT, Webmaster, and the Personal Secretary to the Chairman.
This move is a major change in the way exams will be held under BISE Peshawar, and more information such as the list of new cluster centers is likely to be announced in the near future.
