ISLAMABAD: The 53rd Common Training Program (CTP) at the Civil Services Academy is holding its national-level training with officers from all provinces in Pakistan participating.

There are 136 civil service officers in the program, representing the whole country. Out of these, 52 are from Balochistan, and collectively, they constitute almost 40% of the total number of participants. The considerable representation of Balochistan in the CTP indicates that the province is increasingly becoming a leading force in the civil service.

Such a large number of officers from Balochistan has been regarded as a development of significant importance and has been taken as an unmistakable indication of the province’s enhanced engagement in the core national institutions.

The scenario is considered to be a reason for hope, not just for the region but for the whole nation as well. The talks have mainly revolved around the themes of unity and inclusiveness, and comments like “Well Done Balochistan” and “Well Done Pakistan” have been made by the people as a sign of their being moved by the attainment of advancement.

KP govt reshuffle three senior officers

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has issued orders for the transfer of three senior officers across cadres.

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Establishment Department issued a notification in this regard on Monday. According to the notification, Afaq Wazir, Director of the Performance Management and Reforms Unit in the Office of the Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, has been transferred and appointed as Additional Secretary HRD Establishment Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, while Adnan Khan Battani, Additional Secretary Staff in the Office of the Chief Secretary, has been given the additional charge of the post of Director Performance Management and Reforms Unit.

Similarly, according to another notification, Secretary District Public Safety Commission Charsadda Inayat-ur-Rehman has been transferred and appointed as Additional Assistant Commissioner Peshawar.
