BAJAUR: The process of repatriation of internally displaced people in Bajaur district is underway, and so far thousands of people have returned in the first phase.

These People were displaced in their own area due to the military operation. DG PDMA Asfandyar Khattak, the areas of Damadola, Wada Mamond, Inam Khodchinagai and Matu Chinagai in the Mamond area of ​​Bajaur have been declared clear by the Pakistan Army, and the situation in these areas has completely returned to normal, and the functioning of the state has been restored.

The local district administration has also confirmed the return process and, while paying tribute to the victims who have returned, has expressed the hope that they will continue to cooperate with the state institutions by living peacefully in their respective areas.

In this regard, the PDMA has informed that not only were they working day and night to provide facilities to the victims of Bajaur, but cash financial assistance was also provided to each family verified by NADRA.

He explained in detail that each family is being given a lump sum of Rs 50,000 in cash assistance, Rs 15,000 as a special ration allowance from the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, while Rs 25,000 is being given to each family as a return grant upon return.

On this occasion, Sobia Hussam Toro, Director of the Complex Emergencies Wing (CEWPDMA), a section dedicated to the merged districts, said that as more areas continue to be cleared by the Pakistan Army, the residents there will be sent back in a dignified manner.
