SYDNEY: Pakistan’s star batsman Babar Azam’s journey in the Big Bash League (BBL) has come to an end, as the Sydney Sixers confirmed his unavailability for the remaining matches.
The Sydney Sixers announced through their social media platform that Babar Azam must return to the Pakistan national team training camp for his upcoming commitments. The BBL finals series will not include him because of this situation.

Babar Azam has been recalled to join Pakistan’s national camp ahead of upcoming international fixtures.
He will be unavailable for the remainder of the BBL|15 Finals Series.

The franchise showed appreciation for Babar Azam because he served as their representative. The team wished him success in his next professional endeavours.
Babar Azam used a video message to express his appreciation to Sydney Sixers because he wanted to thank their coaches, players and fans of the organization. He said he enjoyed his time with the team but had to leave due to national duty. “I am going back with good memories,” he added, while appreciating the support from Sixers fans.

The Sydney Sixers will compete against the Hobart Hurricanes in the Challenger Final which is scheduled for Saturday. The match winner will compete against the Perth Scorchers in the BBL final which takes place on Sunday.
