MIRANSHAH: The authorities have ordered the imposition of a curfew in some areas of North Waziristan, namely Datta Khel Tehsil, in view of security issues, as per a statement by the Deputy Commissioner.
Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Yousuf Kareem has confirmed that the curfew will be imposed on Monday, September 29, from 5:00 AM to 3:00 PM and will extend over areas between Miranshah and Datta Khel.
As per the official notification, the Bannu–Miranshah Main Road shall remain intact for the use of all categories of traffic so that the essential movement and transport are not affected.
The district administration has asked the public to cooperate with the forces during curfew and obey all directives of security forces and local authorities.

The announcement is made during increased security in the area, as police make attempts to stabilize the region.
