Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has married his longtime girlfriend Jodi Hayden after a 5-year relationship.
According to foreign media, Anthony Albanese is the first Australian prime minister to marry while in office. The wedding ceremony of the two was held in Canberra and the wedding date was kept secret.
Anthony Albanese and Jodi Hayden met at an event in 2020-21 and then gradually the two became closer to each other. During the 2022 and 2025 election campaigns, Jodi Hayden appeared with Anthony Albanese during international trips and important events.
In February last year, Anthony Albanese proposed to Jodi Hayden on Valentine’s Day, which she accepted.
Anthony Albanese and Jodi Hayden said in their joint statement that they were very happy to share their love and commitment to spending their future together in front of their relatives and close friends.
