SYDNEY: A record-breaking triple century was purportedly achieved by a 20-year-old Australian cricketer Harjas Singh in a 50-over grade cricket match.
According to details, Harjas Singh was the player from Western Suburbs who broke the record books with an unbeaten 314 off just 141 balls (35 sixes, 14 fours) against Sydney Cricket Club at Paton Park. Singh’s unbeaten innings helped Western Suburbs score a massive 483 for 5 runs in 50 overs.
Harjas Singh has now achieved a world first as the only batter to complete a triple century in 50-over grade cricket. In reply, Sydney Cricket Club was only able to muster 287 for 8 and were nowhere near this target.

Harjas who played for Australia at the 2024 ICC Under-19 World Cup only previously was in the headlines for a 55 off 64 balls for the final against India; but this performance has strongly put him into the market as a rising star of Australian cricket.
