WANA: Security forces successfully foiled a terrorist attack on Cadet College Wana in South Waziristan on Monday, preventing what officials described as an attempt to replicate the 2014 Army Public School tragedy.

In a heinous and cowardly terrorist act, Khwarij belonging to Indian proxy Fitna al Khwarij attacked Cadet College Wana in South Waziristan District.

The assailants attempted to breach the perimeter security; however, their nefarious designs were swiftly foiled by the vigilant and resolute response of their own troops. In their desperation, the attackers rammed an explosive-laden vehicle into the main gate, resulting in the collapse of the main gate and damage to adjacent infrastructure.

Displaying unwavering courage and professional excellence, own troops engaged the intruders with precision, eliminating two khwarij belonging to Indian proxy, Fitna al Khwarij. However, three Khwarij managed to enter inside college premises who had been cornered in the College’s administrative block.

These khwarij belonging to Indian proxy, Fitna al Khwarij, have once again tried to repeat the barbaric act of terrorism carried out by them in Army Public School Peshawar in 2014. Aimed at instilling fear amongst the young generation of erstwhile tribal areas who are acquiring quality education at their doorstep to excel in life and achieve a better future for not only themselves and their families but also for their communities.

Khwarij hiding inside college premises are in contact with their masters and handlers in Afghanistan and are getting instructions. This blatant act of barbarism orchestrated by Khwarij from Afghanistan
is in contrast to assertions made by Afghan Taliban Regime claiming non-presence of these terrorist groups on their soil. Pakistan reserves the right to respond against terrorists and their leadership present in Afghanistan.

Clearance operations are being conducted to eliminate leftover Indian sponsored kharjis. We will continue a relentless Counter Terrorism campaign under vision “Azm e Istehkam” (as approved by Federal Apex Committee on National Action Plan) by Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies of Pakistan will continue at full pace to wipe out the menace of foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism from the country.

20 terrorists killed in separate IBOs across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: ISPR

RAWALPINDI: Security forces on Sunday killed 20 terrorists in two separate intelligence-based operations (IBOS) conducted in North Waziristan and Darra Adam Khel areas, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement on Monday.

According to a statement issued by the ISPR on Monday evening, the terrorists belonged to the Indian-backed outfit Fitna-ul-Kharij. The operations were part of the ongoing campaign under the initiative “Determination of Stability” aimed at completely eradicating terrorism from the country.

In the first operation, security forces conducted an intelligence-based raid in the Shawal area of North Waziristan, killing eight Indian-sponsored terrorists after an intense exchange of fire.

In a separate operation in Darra Adam Khel, 12 more terrorists were neutralised. The ISPR said the militants were involved in multiple attacks on security forces and acts of terrorism targeting civilians in the region.

“Clearance and sanitisation operations are being carried out to eliminate any remaining threats in the area,” the ISPR statement added.

The military’s media wing reaffirmed that Pakistan’s security forces remain fully committed to uprooting terrorism and ensuring lasting peace across the country.
