RAWALPINDI: The Rawalpindi Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Wednesday ordered to block the passport and national identity card (NIC) of the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan’s sister, Aleema Khanum, over non-appearance in the court.
The ATC Rawalpindi issued the order while hearing a case on Wednesday. Following her repeated absence from her hearings, the ATC ordered the blocking of the passport and NIC of Aleema Khanum, the sister of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Chairman Imran Khan.
The court issued orders regarding Aleema Khanum’s non-appearance in the protest case from November 26. Following the court’s directive, NADRA and the passport authorities submitted a report.
Anti-Terrorism Court Judge Amjad Ali Shah has ordered the blocking of Aleema Khanum’s passport and identity card. Additionally, the court has mandated her arrest and required that she be produced in court on October 30. Arrest warrants have already been issued against her six times.
