DUBAI: Pakistan is all set to take on India in Super Fours stage of T-20 Asia Cup, on Sunday (today).
According to details, the match will be played at Dubai International Stadium and it will start at half past seven in the evening.
On Saturday, the Pakistan cricket team cancelled its pre-match media briefing, which was scheduled for Sunday’s high-pressure Asia Cup 2025 Super Four match against India at Dubai International Stadium.
The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) confirmed that the briefing, which was originally planned for 7:00pm local time on Saturday, was cancelled at the behest of the team. The management refused to cite a reason.
It is worth mentioning that this is the second time Pakistan has cancelled a planned media briefing during the Asia Cup 2025.
Experts termed the move as an unusual one, with pre-match briefings typically being regarded as a major insight into a side’s preparation and approach.

Earlier, on September 14 Group A match between India and Pakistan. India won by seven wickets, and the match was notable for a handshake scandal. Indian players declined the usual handshakes with their Pakistani players.
Later, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) formally protested, claiming that match referee Andy Pycroft had told Pakistan captain Salman Ali Agha not to shake hands with Yadav.
Former PCB chairman Ramiz Raja has called on the team to re-strategize. He laid stress on Pakistan making 150+ totals on a regular basis and less dependence on all-rounders. “If Saim Ayub or Hassan Nawaz get going tomorrow, Pakistan can match India,” he said, also pointing towards dot-ball percentages needed to improve.
The two teams have made it to the Super Fours together with Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. A likely third India-Pakistan encounter is on the cards in the final on 28 September and the focus is squarely on Dubai where the Asia Cup is heating up towards the T20 World Cup early next year in India and Sri Lanka.
