DUBAI: Arshad Nadeem, the Olympic gold medallist of javelin throwing from Pakistan, has received an invitation to the World Sports Summit to receive an award of great prestige.

According to media reports, Nadeem has been invited to the summit by the Dubai Royal Family, and he will be the only player from Pakistan to attend the summit. The event, which takes place in Dubai on December 29-30, will last for two days and is a meeting of the world’s most important sports personalities.

The award of Sheikh Rashid Al Maktoum Global Sports Award for the best among the athletes will be given to Nadeem for his great strength in sports.

The World Sports Summit is indeed a huge event where, besides the best international players like Cristiano Ronaldo, the great footballer, tennis legends, Serena Williams, and Novak Djokovic, Khabib Nurmagomedov, a mixed martial artist, will attend. This is just a glimpse of the athletes that have been revealed so far.

Furthermore, in a fortunate event, the sanctions on Nadeem’s coach, Salman Butt, have been lifted and thus, Nadeem will still be getting the training and support from his coach.

The World Sports Summit will be an extraordinary event that will demonstrate how sports have global impact besides it will also showcase the very best of Arshad Nadeem’s talent that still inspires millions.

Arshad Nadeem wins Gold in Javelin throw at Solidarity Games

On November 20, Pakistani athlete Arshad Nadeem has won the gold medal in the Javelin throw contest at the Islamic Solidarity Games in Saudi Arabia, with his best throw reaching an impressive 83.05 meters.

According to details, Arshad Nadeem has won the gold medal for the second time in the Islamic Solidarity Games.

Another Pakistani athlete Mohammad Yasir has secured a Silver Medal by making a throw of 76.04 meters.

It is worth mentioning that Arshad Nadeem had also won the gold medal in the Olympic Games last year.
