Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir said that the Pakistan army is fully prepared for hybrid warfare and extremist ideologies, and said that rigorous and mission-oriented training is the need of the hour.
Chief of Defence Force Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir visited Gujranwala and Sialkot garrisons, where he reviewed the high professional capabilities, overall readiness, and operational capability of the formation. According to the ISPR, the Field Marshal was given a detailed briefing on the measures to increase the operational readiness and combat capability of the formation.
During the visit, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir observed field training exercises and a modern simulator training facility, and stressed the importance of rigorous and mission-oriented training. He said that the Pakistan Army is fully prepared to deal with hybrid warfare, extremist ideologies, and elements spreading chaos.
The Field Marshal directed the personnel of the formation to continue their preparations to deal with internal and external challenges and ensure national security in every possible way. The ISPR further said that the Field Marshal appreciated the overall combat readiness, training, and use of modern technology of the formation and termed these measures as important for the security of the country.
The purpose of the visit was not only to improve combat capability but also to enhance the practical training of military personnel and their ability to respond effectively in emergencies.
Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir said in his message on the occasion that the Pakistan Army is fully prepared to confront all kinds of internal and external threats and protect the integrity of the country.
