Central President of Awami National Party Senator Aimal Wali Khan said that ANP will never accept undemocratic practices in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and said that Governor’s rule is not the solution to any problem.

Governor’s rule is not the solution to problems, Senator Aimal Wali Khan said while expressing strong opposition to the notion of Governor’s Rule in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Awami National Party (ANP) Senator Aimal Wali Khan has said that Governor’s rule is not the solution to problems, and the ANP should be kept away from this issue. Talking to the media outside the parliament, he said that the ANP will always oppose Governor’s rule.
Senator Aimal Wali Khan further said that the mistakes and losses that have been made will now have to be tolerated, and he described the theft of the mandate as “filth”. He clarified that the ANP will not support any undemocratic practices and will play every possible role to maintain the continuity of democracy in the country.
According to Aimal Wali Khan, undemocratic measures do not resolve problems but rather increase political tension and public distrust in the country. He stressed that opposition to any undemocratic measures in the future will remain the consistent policy of the ANP. This stance of Senator Aimal Wali Khan reflects the clear and strict policy of the ANP in the current political situation, in which the party will not accept any undemocratic or anti-people mandate measures.
